Bound to Ritual
In the summer of 2022, I participated in the Guggenheim's Summer Workshop Program, an experimental classroom setting focused on research, writing, and collaborative discussions. This immersive experience culminated in a final project and presentation. My project, Bound to Ritual, explores the theme of Ritual through the lens of my personal experiences with OCD and its ritualistic behaviors. I created a handmade booklet paired with an essay to convey my perspective. Bound to Ritual, along with the diverse projects of other participants, is featured in the Guggenheim’s eBook, Reimagining and Reinventing Rituals, which is permanently housed on the museum's website.
